Like Graham S, I too bought these to go with a Giantcod alloy folding prop spinner. I can confirm that the roots are only 5mm and NOT 8mm as described. Not happy with packing out with washers, and also do not have a hole large enough to accept the pins in the Giantcod folding spinner. Unlless you are prepared to drill out the holes to accept the pins and pack out with washers, then dont buy. As a side note, they are indeed marked as EMP on the packet, and not TGS as described.

I bought a pair of these, and some 9x5's as well to go with the 8mm root folding prop spinner,( advertised as red but actually silver). Unfortunately the prop roots are only 6mm,so I had to pack them out with a couple of 1mm washers. Also the holes are smaller than the pins,so I needed to drill these out to fit. The name on the packet is EMP and not TGS,so I don't know if there has been a mix up somewhere. However, having modified them and run them up to full revs, they run O.K. and hopefully will be alright when I can get out to fly the 'plane. So,I can't give 5 stars as they were not as advertised, but I might be able to upgrade the score after flying. Graham
