Running a second one of these in a WOT Next Sport Flyer from Scratchbuilt Foamies over on RCGroups. Using 3 cell 1000 Lipo and 6X5.5 currently, flies really well and nice turn of speed.

Bought this as a replacement for the plastic motor in my Parkzone Decathalon, works great. Better than the original, which was a crap design using plastic for the rotor housing. Running a GC 8X4 on 2 cell 800 for 8 minute flights, could do a bit more with throttle management but its addictive throwing it around. Does not run anywhere near the 11.7 amps posted for an APC more like 9 max. Pulls the Decathalon vertical fine and will loop at half throttle, plane weighs in at 16 ounce.

i bought 4 x 14 12A 1450KV V1 SP Brushless Out runner Motor and found them in black and silver not as the pitchers show i had one not working wright and sent it back to cod and now i have an email saying there is nothing wrong with the motor and i have made a mistake with the soldering of the joint? And now i have to pay to get my 1450 motor back I have also bought a lot of goods from cod and now I’m disappointed a lot with cod sorry but i would like the goods i see in the pitchers not something that matches the speeds and amps If i order a gold motor i would like a god gold motor not a cheap copy of the motor you are saying we will get I have bought in the last 3 months a lot of goods and now I don’t feel like buying anything else as I don’t know what surprise I will get in the cracker

Being new to building my own I put one in my Guillows me109 400 series full r/c conversion. Whilst messing around wiring everything up I accidently set it to full power (the prop was also on) result, I needed to make some repairs! This motor is a little beast I have since strengthend the wings further because as it stands it could almost fly without them. This rocks for £6 you also get a decent spinner and mounting kit. Excellent motor can't wait to crash all my hard work! I'm using a hobby wing 18A ESC with and 2 cell 20C lipo also bought for here experimenting with props but I basically went with what was advised for motor, loads of power.
