Motor is shorter than shown on the photo (as expected) and the prop saver bottoms out as the thread is too long. A washer has been included and would be OK to solve the problem if it were not for the hole being about 1mm too large, so potential balance problems when tightened if is goes off centre. Just cut 2mm off the thread and problem solved.
Power (Static), using 1300mah Zippy Flightmax 3S1P 20C pack:
APC 5.5x4.5 - 7/8ths throttle and it hit 24.7A, so aborted (despite other review showing 21A)
APC 4.75x4.75 - 20.6A at full power holding 10.6V = 218W

Using a 3s LiPo and an APCe 5.5'' x 4.5'' prop, my particular motor draws 21.4A (static) for a power of 235W. This motor is in my 10.5ozs Multiplex Microjet and provides more than enough power to go vertical using a 25C 1300mAh 3s LiPo. The included mount, screws and prop adaptor are of useable quality and the motor appears to be fairly well made too.
Excellent motor for the money and lightening quick delivery (next day!).
Thanks Rob!

Inexpensive and more than enough for what I needed (used with a 3S 1800Mah Lipo on the RCPOWERS F22(version 1) scratch build)
Propshaft is very long, and the prop adapter refused to fit properly, but spares went on fine!

i bought 4 x 14 12A 1450KV V1 SP Brushless Out runner Motor and found them in black and silver not as the pitchers show i had one not working wright and sent it back to cod and now i have an email saying there is nothing wrong with the motor and i have made a mistake with the soldering of the joint? And now i have to pay to get my 1450 motor back
I have also bought a lot of goods from cod and now I’m disappointed a lot with cod sorry but i would like the goods i see in the pitchers not something that matches the speeds and amps
If i order a gold motor i would like a god gold motor not a cheap copy of the motor you are saying we will get
I have bought in the last 3 months a lot of goods and now I don’t feel like buying anything else as I don’t know what surprise I will get in the cracker
i have bought this motor just latleay and found it to be the same motor as the 1400kv i have put them side by side and i cannot see the defrons what so ever and agen the pitcher is nothing like the motor you will not get the gold motor in the pitcher

What a nice motor, with GC's usual 'lightning' delivery and a prop adapter included!
Really makes the 110mm diam prop (4.4x7) spin on a 3s and produces plenty of thrust for my ducted prop 36" Depron Skyray.

not the motor i recieved but still the same spec. the prop adapter needs shortening, when you tighten the end piece it wont reach the prop as the threded part is to long. maybe just mine. im just going to trim the end of with a dremel, no problem otherwise.

These 2208/8 2600kv motors really are the tops in their catagory for performance and low pricing. I have several of them in small 16ounce models which make them sing along. I have two in my Concordia design which was recently in the RC Model World magazine as a free plan and another, called Risasi, in a future free plan in the same magazine. Great motors and never had one burn out!! Mike White
