Failed to add that was 386W on a 9x6E APC clone prop.

So far I have only bench run this motor and it is planned to go in a Ripmax spitfire. Construction quality is very good and solid. On a APC clone prop from GC and a 3S 3000 Lipo it produces 386W at full chat at 34A.

My other revies are about another motor. First it was a 2814-06 DYS sold here. It has a 5mm shaft and is beautifully built. This one scares me. sharp edges and a tiny 4mm shaft. But it really handles the current. I am using it in a MPX Easycup on a 10,5x6 Aero Naut CAM Carbon prop at 3s. I draws around 65A at fullthrottle, for a few seconds the motor can manage that. works great. So it's ok for the price concerning the power but not the building quality.

Absolutely 5 stars! This motor managed the current it draws when I had a streamer twisted round the spinner during an aircombat heat. Must be something aboud 60A I think, because the 3.5mm bullets, connecting the motor to the esc, were soldered off by the heat! The windings got colour, but still are ok! Great motor, I just can say! Secondly ordered motors came with accessorypack...strange...

Construction of the motor seems to be very well done. It has big bearings, a solid 5mm shaft and runs absolutely smooth. The wire has been wound pretty tight and has been glued with some glue like epoxy on the ends. That shows quality. I measured: JXF High speed prop 9x6 at 3s: 28A current and 11100rpm. Today I will test the result in comparision to the EMP 3536 1100KV with the same prop on 23A current and 10500rpm. I hope it will perform better. If not, I will have to cut the tips of the Prop to get a little more rpms and a little less current. One BIG problem: I ordered two of these motors but didn't get even one accessoiry pack!!! What happened there? I just got two motors in their boxes. First impression of the motor is good, if it fails, I will report. Wilhelm

So far so good. The motor comes in a box with all the bullet connecters pre-soldered. The motor itself feels good quality and has a good 5mm shaft with a solid looking adapter amd has a motor mount (all shown in the photo on here). After a few tests with my watt meter I find a 1100rpm motor may have suited my requirements a little better but not by much (it's a shame Giant Cod don't stock the full range of these motors with 5mm shafts). These are my tests so far. EMP Electric - 9X6 - 11.9v - 40amps - 476Watts EMP Electric - 9X4.7 - 11.5v - 37amps - 425Watts EMP Electric - 7X5 - 11.5v - 26.5amps - 305Watts I have ordered a 9X3.8 EMP Electric prop which should be about right for me with this motor (expecting 34amps and around 390watts @11.5v)
