have this fitted in my h/z suprcub convertion with 10x6 apc. plenty of power cruise around on half throttle.. nice one rob cracking motor..

These seem to produce a lot of thrust and four of them will quite happily lift my 1.1Kg quad with 10x4.5 props and 2700ma 11.1 Lipo at 60% power. As someone else mentioned, the wires are a bit flimsy. However, 3 stars because they suffer from a major design flaw: the grub screws holding the mount on vibrate themselves loose.

I'm running one these in my Mscomposit swift ll, very impressed. setup 30amp esc, 1500mah 3s, 8x8 apc prop unlimited vertical climb at very brisk pace, prob asking bit much of motor but mine does not get warm for now, so lets see how it lasts

Excellent power to weight ratio on this little beast. Fragile cables as on all these Emax style type motors but who cares at this price. Pulls a foam GWS AT6 vertical in its sleep on a 3S 1800. Can't wait to try it on a profile model should kick butt.

This is a good little motor, I have it wired up to a SP30a speed control, for a budget setup in my Gee Bee foamie. This and a 1000mah 3 cell lipo with a 8 x 4 apc type prop from GC gave 165 watts with all equipment cool. I expect I will be able to push the prop size up a bit to say 9 x 4 without getting to close to the 20 c rating of my lipo. Cruise throttle setting yields about 7 amps, 3/4 throttle about 10 amps, from there to full throttle it jumps to about 16.5 amps. A note to make was that my motor turned up red in colour not the blue shown in the photo. I am well pleased with the results and also with the service from GC, Can't wait to give it a go in the air.

Very impressive motor for the price. Using a 10x4.7, an old-ish 1000ma Loomax 2 cell battery and an ultra cheap GC 18amp controller, it will pull a 300g foamy vertical at 1/2 throttle. Only pull about 12 amps on this prop so would cope with a bigger size. However, this prop gives really good throttle control. However, use a bigger battery and it will pull more amps. Best value combination I have found for 3 foot foamies. By the way the mounting is NOT compatible with the smaller FC motors.

Great value motor for foamies in the 35 - 40" winspan range e.g. GWS warbirds. Pulls my Ugly Stick around with authority & ROG in 20 feet.

Superb performance and value for money. Pulls 28A (330W) on a 10x4.5 using 3S so a 9x4.5 would be a better match. Convenient 10mm diameter mount allows one of the other CF series motors to be dropped in as an alternative. Great for experimenting with props etc.

I purchased 2 of these motors with the intention of building a Twin.... First impressions are that these motors are as good in quality as the smaller 2822 and 2212 motors from the same manufacturer.. Shaft size is 3mm as stated and is supported by two beefy bearings. With a current rating of 24.5 amps/60 secs I expect these motors to be good for 200 watts at least.. Good for my Twin! giving me around 400 watts of input power should get me around a 4 pound model. I best start looking for a plan. All round, another excellent product from Rob.
