Great motor - but only four stars (the ad didn't mention that a 3 mm driver collet was required) One other point (and not GC's fault): the 'tracking Service' as operated by the Royal Snail is totally useless - all it would tell me was that it couldn't be tracked as it hadn't been delivered. Now isn't the point of tracking so that you know when it's actually 'on the road' and you can be there to take delivery?

This motor has got to be the bargain of the year. Motor and 10A ESC for £7.52!! Running a 5x3 3blade on 2s LiPo - superb. I have four and they are all going on the same plane.

great motor using also with a 6x5 prop works a treat with a 10 amp esc and a 2cell 450 mah lipo about 4 mins which is enough for my home made sled

What a brilliant little motor, plenty of power for my depron f15 eagle.lifted it straight off of the ground,no u/c,damp grass, and shot off before I knew what had happened, but I was in control. Definately a worthwhile investment.

Quite new to the rc hobby scene, have bought around 6 items from GC and the delivery times are second to none!! bought this wee motor with 6x4 prop for one of my rc paramotor projects, its so powerful it can lift my 2.5m parafoil off the ground (standing start!) within ten feet! My buggy weighs 1.3kg,i use 2s 2200mah lipo, tower pro 40a esc and this motor keeps it up for around 20/30 mins flying high and fast so... 5 stars for the smoothness and delivery thru full throttle range.

dont like these motors very much i have put one in my mini-malibu f3p with a 2cell 450mah battery and there still seems to be no power what so ever there not even enough to get it off the floor ? any ideas

I've bought 3 of these now and have been very impressed with them. The first 2 that I bought came with labels saying 7-11V, but these really only work on 2s lipo, don't ask me how I found out. Like another review said, these work great on smaller props less than 6" in diameter. I run them on 6x4 in some 200g EPP models and they have oodles of power. It's a shame that the price has gone up a bit from the original £3.89, but even at the new price they are still excellent value for money and great for models up to 300g. 5 stars all the way!

Fantastic little motor for its price! Highly recommended for fast 2 cell action.

My static and flying tests with this motor are as follows: This is a 2-cell motor and a 6inch prop should be regarded as the maximum - up 14amps static on a 6x4 depending on the battery. The quality and capacity of the battery makes a difference in the current and revs. The new Multiplex Gunther equivalent (about 5.5x5) seems a good prop for faster models and the motor become a replacement for a 6v Speed 400. This prop draws up to 12 amps at 13,600rpm Flying the motor in a Wild Wing gives slightly better performance with good duration than the brushed motor even using an old 1300ma, 2-cell pack. The motor is warm after full throttle operation but not hot. However, it is MUCH quieter than the brushed motor set up. This is a good Speed 400 replacement at a fantastic price. However, note the current draw when selecting a controller and battery!

Can't fault these little motors. Both me and my son are using them in our E-flite Curtis Jenny biplanes with Loong Max 800 2S and 12A escs with 6x4 prop AUW about 9oz. Bags of power. I'm putting another in a Nano Shark depron build from a plan - only 6oz this one so should go vertical with ease. These are a steal!!

I bought this motor for a 5.5oz model Bipe. Using the Loog Max 500mAh 2s1p battery, it will pull this model vertical from my hand. Superb quality and the price is just fantastic
