Got 2 more of these recently as just getting back into flying my 450 (which started out as a HK450 from here but is now all Align after replacing all the parts as they wore out or were broken) again. The original one has been used in gliders, my Funjet, as a lipo for my nitro starter...you name it and it's done it! It still charges and balances perfectly every time. Usual speedy GC delivery...well done guys will probably buy more so I can fly all day!!

I have had four of these for about a year with no problems. Just ordered two more. Used in hot liner gliders, Multiplex Fun Cub and Tony Nijhuis DC3 (one per motor). I can recommend them.

I have 4 of these now and about to buy another 2. I use them in my Trex 450 pro and Parkzone Trojan T28.
Each lipo has had around 20+ cycles and still coping well with 3d aerobatics and sustained high speed flight.
I use the 6S 3000 mAH version in my Trex 500 with great results. Would recommend!
And as always, Super fast delivery!
Thanks again GC

Very very good lipo battery. I bought two of the same size capacity and two small and all works in perfect way with a good amperage flow.

See review by me on 20 C same Capacity. I have 6 of these and one reads less than 2000 and another 2 seem to be heading the same way. Also used in Align T.REX 500 pulling 10 C. (6 minute Flight) I will try the Gens Ace.
First time I have had problems with Loong Max/Tipple

got one, more than 20 charge (max 2.0 A) and perfect in flight (no warm, no puff), and in charge . Pretty generous the throughput in flight (so far hovering).
So far, so good!

Just received two of these batteries, very prompt delivery. Voltage and cell balance checked out OK.
These will not be used in high discharge models, should be able to keep within battery specification.
Given the choice I would rather receive them without connectors fitted, but no problem.
This will be the first time I have used these batteries.

really good bettery, i use them in a Tarot 450 pro. only get around 4.5 minutes of flight until they go down to about 3.80v per cell, but its a weight/size issue with the heli but good performance, charge at 2.5A easily without getting warm.

Just bought two more of these to replace two older packs. I run them in a Multiplex Geminis with 400w outrunner in it and they can handle the 40+amps in bursts no problem (I'm not a prop hanger or full throttle pilot). Get 8 minutes flight with that. Also have them in a 260w space scooter and they last 10 minutes in that easy. I don't push the charge to 5c, so can't comment on that, but its nice to know they can if I need them in a hurry.

Have a couple of these that are well over a year old and have at least 50+ cycles through them. Yes after 15 or so charges they are/were not as "Zippy" as when they were new but you only notice it when you want constant full power for a sustained period, not a problem to me and my fixed wing stuff. I do have a couple of "Expensive brand" lipos and they are no different.
. If you want your batterys to have different conectors, or them all be the same size then go to your local model shop and pay twice the price!!
Value for money --- you know it makes sense

Bought one of these for my 450 heli I got on here. Had 5 flights so far and barely gets warm and balances perfectly every time, will definately be getting another couple of these. Would be better if they came with no connector rather than the one that comes with it so you can solder on your own choice.

Bought one of these batteries recently and am having a problem balancing one cell, it may eventually come right after a few more charges, just purchased two more, am not going to be put off from buying these batteries because I have several and no problem with any, eventually if we buy enough there comes a time when we all have to get one poor battery.

I purchase one of these to try out on my tricopter and have found this a very good battery for the cost.
My Tricopter uses 26 amps in a hover and after ten minutes of flight the battery is barely warm
It has about 15 flights now and is not showing any deteriation
( As a side note I bought this lipo to replace the 4 x 2200 mah flightmax lipos I got from Hobby King one only lasted three flights and the others also puffed after a few flights so although they were cheaper were a wast of money)
I have just ordered this second one as a further test, will buy more if it holds up as good as the first.

The best lipo that I use. I tried zippy of same C and capacity, both zippy puffed after few flights, but those surrived so much torture from me :) A few crashes from ie. 80mph straight to the earth, little rumble but they still works as the first day, full capacty, full C, Over 100 cycles no puffing yet.

Bought 2 of these. One is OK, the other has a bad cell - lasts about 2 mins before it is drained (other two cells fine)
I use EC3 connectors so had to change the one supplied with the Lipo, so that I could use the battery and find it to be faulty. This means that they will not replace.
I don't think I will risk another Lipo purchase from Giant Cod as you have no recourse should you get a 'duffer'

Very similar to old 2250 packs but appear better with silicone balancing leads and slightly smaller pack size. Don't like the main connector and change to bullets but my personal preference. Had only a few flights from the two packs ordered but if they last like the old ones did then I can't complain. Good value for money.

Excellent service as always, have wired a pair of these in parallel for a trusted touring car because the dimensions and weight are perfect.
Soldered on some Deans connectors and made the appropriate changes to the EZ Run ESC fan and checked the gearing to compliment the EZ Run 3900; goes like stink!

Got this battery delivered today for use in my HK450 v2, delivery was excellent as usual the item was well packed and protected and arrived in perfect condition. the battery fits very snug with canopy attached and provides more than enough power to my align 430SP motor and 40A black mantis ESC iv charged it twice and flown twice on it today and all is very well , i do have 1 complaint tho the connector that is supplied with this like nothing iv seen before but on the upside it was very easy to convert to a deans XT connection so all is well. i give this battery 5 stars because the price is reasonable and it works perfect in my HK450 well done GC regard simon hildrew, county durham

Run these in my trex 450 pro, sport and parkzone bf109- g plane and they perform very well. Good power throughout the flight and no noticeable drop off. I have 50 cycles on 2 of these now and they still fly perfect with no puffing.

I use these in various 'planes from powered glider to EDF - they cope very well. Nice to have 5C charging although I tend to charge at just over 1C out of respect for the batteries life (or possibly cowardice as I've never seen a LIPO blow and don't want to...)

I have read alot of these reviews and thought i should mention that you shouldnt fully drain lipo batteries. you should only use 75 to 80 % leaving 20-25% in the battery. your lipo wont last if you keep running them right down.

Excellent batteries, have ordered a further 2 of them. Used in my Ripmax Spitfire and after 6.30mins of flying around battery was still cool to the touch..definately the best i have bought, used to rate Turnigys until i had 'puffing up' problems with a 20c rated battery.

I bought 4 of these lipos this week and I will be buying more. I cannot believe the difference in power. The higher c rating has transformed my T rex 450 sport into a beast compared to the impulse lipos i was using.

i have had 2 hovers on this lipo in my trex450 pro, a 5 minute hover showed the pack was only half discharged.
this is better than the align 2250 40c pack that was supplied with the heli and cost me £41.00 which gives me 7 minutes too full discharge (20% left in pack)
also the tipple pack runs cooler too despite its 25c rating.
i will be buying some more of these me thinks.
great price giantcod.

bought 6 of these lipo's
Very good battery highly recommended
only 1 has died due to only 3% left after a flight so I don't blame the lipo for that.
only the 30c beats this battery!!

Superb battery! Excellent voltage stability under load - far better than my flightpower packs which gave up the ghost at 39A, despite being rated to 76-108A. Third of the price too!
This one is in an e powered soarer with a turnigy 2845 2700 Kv fitted to a 4.4:1 gearbox driving a 16 x 8 cam prop - 429 Watts - WOW!

Very fast delivery, tried this battery today in my 450 heli.....hovered around the garden for 13 mins then found out that my ESC is set to switch off when the battery gets low :-( must remember to reset that. The problem (???) was that I noticed no sagging of the battery before the ESC cut the power. Very pleased with this so far (only 1 flight as yet), great value too, if it carries on performing like this I will be buying more

I bought 3 of these which turned up next day. Very very good batteries much better that the old versions. They have the softer wire for the recharge plug which is better as the old ones used to break. I run these in a trex 450 se v2 running a 100 flat throttle curve and after 4.5 minutes of 3d the batteries come down luke warm and still perform as good at the end of the battery as they do at the begining. I will be buying another 3 and recomend these to anyone.
