I've bought several of these receivers and am very impressed especially the price (cheap as chips). No complicated instructions like you get with the dual conversion rx's. and polarity clearly marked.

I have got 4 of these wonderfull receivers they are full range and give a better range check than some of my more expensive branded receivers, I have one in a Alula glider and one in a Weasel with a micro aerial, This glider has had many hard landings and crashes but the receiver is still working great.
This is a great small receiver and I would recommend it to anyone..

A good Rx at a fair price. This is no. six.
Pity the postage only allows insd. first class. Would have gone for just 1st class.
But the Rx is excellent. One aerial did detach itself.

Great little Rx. Price just can't be beat (and I'm pretty good at trying). Had to borrow a Ch 76 mini crystal from another model to test it, but worked fine. Still deparate to buy a Ch 76 crystal from GC but have had none in stock for ages.

These are awesome little Rx's. Don't be skeptical because of the low prce - these are some of the best units I have ever used. They are my fleet standard now. I get no glitches at all on electric models and the range is well further than I fly - even with my sailplanes!

I have just purchased my fourth of these. All have performed faultlessly and cheap enough to be permanently "built in" to a model.

Receiver works fine. The only issue I had was that My Crystals were a sloppy fit in the socket. Both Crystals were new, one was a GWS the other was a Corona.

A super small and light 4 channel RX you should be able to squeeze in anywhere. Delivered speedily (as always with Giantcod) in a nice foam lined protective box.

This receiver is ideal for slim Glider fuselages and also brushless powered aircraft
where space is limited due to speed controllers and batteries enclosed in a restricted
cockpit, alongside a "Y" lead perhaps for aileron control. I have had no trouble
connecting to this Rx after reading the clear indication on the package, whereas
others have responded differently and caused some damage. Theresponse has
been superb with no gliches and at this reasonable cost I wil buy further supplies.
Thank You Rob for a great product

Coming from an earlier generation of receivers, with cases about matchbox-size or bigger, I didn't grasp how small these are until mine arrived. And a small price to match: brilliant!

These Rxs are great. I have 5 of them and even in my EDF models I suffer no glitches. They are small and light and very easy to accommodate even in quite small models. they are long range and I have never manage to fly them out of range. You will net to get matching crystals available here at very reasonable cost

I'm posting this as a 'combination' review as its a complete setup that works well, is just about as cheap as you can get, and seems to be ideal for indoor & small outdoor foamies, Shockfliers, etc.
Currently I have two models with this combination, a Nutball & a 22" Sharkface, both from 6mm depron. This kit has also served in other models but trees seem to decide when I need to build another model :)
I was thinking that the number of permutations of motors, batteries, escs, etc can be bewildering to the newcomer, so my idea was to recommend a complete package rather than review each product individually.
This is my package: (you will have to copy & paste links, sorry)

This combination of kit has proven to be completely reliable, despite the odd 'dumb-thumbs' mishap, it has been flown to extreme range almost to an invisible dot and has never glitched once. The rx is tiny, and the aerial is very thin. I tethered mine to the rx with a blob of evo-stik. The crystal is exposed so ensure it cant vibrate out and wont get bent on a crash landing.
The 3.7g servos have plenty of torque for this application. One thing to be careful of, the servo cases 'pop' together, so if you need to remove them from an old depron mount, push them through from the back, dont pull or the case may separate. I find that 6mm depron grips them tightly enough to avoid the need to glue them in.
The Blue Wonder is a great little motor, but a bit noisy. It feels notchy to turn manually, but runs smoothly under power. There is plenty of thrust with the 8x3.8 but on 2S you could go to a 9x4 for even more. With the 8x3.8 it takes the weight of the 5oz plane at about half throttle and uses about 4-5 amps at max, which is just under 40 watts (well over the magic 100w per pound on a 5 oz model)
The 2S 500 mAH lipo seems to last ages even when climbing vertically flat out, and with throttle can fly this combo for 15 mins or more. I often do 2 flights on a charge.
The A6 charger is a superb piece of kit, it probably does everything you will ever need, and its very easy to use. A good charger is an investment, and this one is a really good choice given the variety of battery types and capacities it can accomodate. It has a PC interface to plot graphs.
The SP10A ESC has little by way of programmability, which means its dead easy to use straight out of the box. It knows automagically what type your battery is, and sets the cut-out accordingly. It runs the Blue Wonder with never a stutter, regardless of how fast you hit the throttle (some escs dont like sudden throttle changes).
So there you have it, a complete package for foamy fun. Buy with confidence, I have no connection with GC other than as a delighted customer.
Cheers
Phil

Excellent tiny Rx. Lays very flat due to its strange plug orientation but that can be very useful.
