RS610II has improved the receiving range as far as 1.5Km (checking range on ground). RS610 is an 6-channel, full range, and narrowband receiver. Supported by modern electronic technology, it can reach good performance by several grams. If a receiver only has the function of receiving signals, and its external size is similar to a MP3, it is totally unnecessary. Remember a MP3 has a PLL radio, a memory, a powerful microprocessor, a liquid crystal, a lithium battery and an exquisite case! RS610 is actually a 6-channel, small size, full range and narrowband receiver. Different from the traditional receiver with analog chip decoder, onboard DSP MCU can distinguish valid signal from noise signal intelligently, rather than pass them all to the servo directly. Therefore, when a DSP receiver has the same sensitivity (range) with the traditional receiver, DSP receiver is silent (no glitches) in full range. However, the traditional receiver will get jitter slightly when it exceeds half of its range, and the further you go, the worse. In addition, the sensitivity of RS610 is about 2-3ìV, while it is about 4-5ìV of the traditional full range receiver. With such a great capacity performance, we can assure the control distance has sufficient margin.
The light weight and small size of RS610II predominate in other receivers. Furthermore, we have moved the crystals of RS610II to side face, which really improves the reliability of replacing crystals. We have also improved DSP. It can make more strictly filter about received signals and eliminate glitches efficiently.
You can put RS610II receiver in any place when you install it on whatever electric puddle-plane, 3D plane, glider or training plane. And don't worry the trouble which will be brought by changing CG. RS610II receiver has the structure of level inserted pin by special design and assorted with super thin electronic parts. The thickness of RS610II receiver is only 7.2mm which makes the installation more convenient.
Reliability, high performance and sale price, they are what CORONA can provide for you.

Well pleased this product. Only criticism is that crystal sticking out of the end of the rx seems rather vulnerable, but taped over it to provide additional support. Very compact and exceedingly good value. works well with my brushless set-up. Will buy more of these.

Other people seem to have been very pleased so I suppose my experience with this Rx is unusual. I was using it in a Multiplex Minimag running a 3s brushless setup. It glitched very badly and wasn't very responsive, which resulted in some very rough landings and unplesant flights. I had the 4ch version in there before and didn't have any problems, I'll be putting it back in I think and this one will be going back in its box. Perhaps it will perform better in one of my sailplanes. Still, this series of Rx's seems to be very good overall and I still reccomend you try them.

Good value for money. It must be I have already bought four and use all of them in gliding competitions. Excellent performance. Glitch free. Low current consumption. Just one question.... Why pay more for a receiver?

Very nice receiver. Total length overall including mini crystal (bought additionally from Giantcod for £1.79) 5cm long, 2cm wide, 1cm thick. This is my second one, because I was very satisfied with the first that I bought about a year ago. I use it with my old futaba 35MHz challenger 6ch Transmitter. Works perfectly. In fact I have never had a glitch from it, and neither has anyone else as far as I can make out. You need to put a loop of sellotape over the top of the crystal to make sure it is secure. Then sellotape the receiver ariel to the case so that it never gets pulled off. Absolutely superb.

This is very good receiver with greater range than the standard item provided wth the system and performs faultlessly in my electric Black magic. Trevor M

Excellent Rx, this is the second I have had one is in Flying Wings 'Hornet', the other in Multiplex 'Parkmaster'. Have had no problems whatsoever it is like flying 2.4ghz!

I bought one of these some weeks ago but my club channel is 57, so I wasn't able to try it until I'd got hold of the right crystal. Rob doesn't seem to keep any minis below 60. The cheapest I could find was at Robotbirds (hush my mouth!) at £5 a shot. I bought two, tried out the Corona receiver and what can I say? It worked. Basically, as a "returning" flier I've been using Micron receivers I built 10+ years ago. Hasn't technology moved on? This little gizmo is a fraction of the size and weight and seems to me to do the business-fit and forget-in fact it's so small you could forget where you fitted it! I bought another and it works fine too-not just a flash-in-the-pan!

Ireceived my rx within 2 days. Well done, very quick, nice product. All I want now is a ch 57 mini crystal so that I can test it. Then I'll write a proper review...........

wow i fitted this receiver in a jet foamie right next to the esc (no room elsewhere) and it flew perfectly with no interference at all i did a range check and it performed faultlessly my only gripe was that the matching crystal i bought from giant cod was very fragile and i bent the pins slightly fitting it this could have been my fault as i have large hands and it was tiny compared to normal ones. having done this it still worked perfectly and i will buy another of them both for my next set up

I have a few of these now, all give excellent performance, great interference rejection too, great for indoors where practically every other tiny Rx glitches continuously. Strangely long aerial though.

Although i bought mine from other sources whilst stocks were out i thought i would give a review as i see it. These are really nice receivers and the layout with pins at front and xtal/aerial at rear is top. I use them with aerial cut down to 18" with 3d foamies up to a metre span no probs (user risk obviously but range will still beat the competition and safe max. range is @6-700metres) i use gws s/c micro xtal and the weight inc. non-shortened aerial is 7.1gm and 6.8gm shortened, great thing over a 4ch is the ability to mix channels, i have one in an ic powered funfly os46sf piped powered plane too a Dave Smith Panther where the mixing of ele/ail is used. Teriffic value and nothing will touch it for this price. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.
