Don't know how they do them at this price, was expecting to have to change existing deans connectors, but pleasantly suprised by the fact that they fit much dearer deans.GREAT.

I have used these connectors for a few years now on airsoft gun battery's never had a problem with them and with the size of the connections I get a good current path. Ideal, and the price is very good. Thanks for a very good service, please keep it up.

I have now changed all my boats to these connectors and done away with all the other types that were used.
really simple to make and break connections with no chance of getting the polarity wrong.
They are easy to solder, one tip is to have a pair connected together when soldering to prevent any mishap if you accidentally overheat the joint.
Highly recommended

I got the XT version from GC (last winter as I recall). These are not listed here any more. Apart from the letters XT moulded into the body what is the difference?
I have fitted several but I have only put them to light use so far. Nonetheless they seem much more robust that the Tamiya connectors that I replaced. There isn't a locking clip like the Tamiya plugs but the fit is tight enough that they won't fall apart in use.
The terminals are quite short and there isn't enough space to locate a heat sink during soldering. Consequently you need to pre-tin everything and make sure you don't apply too much heat, but I managed to make the all the connections without softening the plastic and loosening the pins.
Don't tell Rob I said so but they're worth twice the price for me.

Incredible prie for what your getting, the connections themseles have shown a vast improvement from changing from tamiya to these deans connectors. Only thing I would say is its a tight fit together, but I'd rather that than loose. Brilliant product.

Nice and cheap, Though the first pair did melt in soldering. Just plug them into each other before soldering and the pins stay straight.
Prefer the ones I buy from a model shop (XT) for higher powered models, but for all else, their great :-)
Also put a bit of glued heatshrink on, makes them more robust (Check West Wales Models for glued heatshrink)

The ones supplied were not exactly as shown in the website image, only had two ribs to grip instead of three. Seem to work ok though and soldered ok without melting. Positive pin does move slightly sidway's in the connector but seem's to make contact ok. Pins are plated unlike some I purchased on a well known auction site which were not. Original Deans connectors seem to only be available from the USA unless anyone know's were to get them over here? Good value as seem to be about the cheapest around.

So far these have stood up to the job with strong connection so won't easily come apart.
Have use these on all my batteries (removing old tamiya style).
Not sure how GC can sell these so cheap compared to other retailers. No complaints.
