The unit that arrived in its sealed bag has issues with a non-fitting prop and since Rob says he is a couple of men down at the moment my issue is still outstanding.
Taken separately, the spinner/prop adaptor is a smart little unit with a backplate diameter of 38mm. It fits the 3.17mm dia shaft of the Thumrun motor perfectly, is light in weight and nicely finished with crossbearer for props with 8mm roots.
This is where the problem starts because mine was delivered with blades of 6mm root fitted. These flopped around because the hole in the blade roots were about 0.5mm larger in diameter than the supplied bolts. This, if I was daft enough to run it as supplied could alter the pitch of the prop in flight and quite possibly snap the root off the blade. Although the blades were marked 10x8 (and had the initials hy) the distance between the pivot bolts was too wide. making the actual diameter of the prop 10.5" and effectively increasing the pitch by about .5"
But for the issue with the mis-matched prop I would give this unit a five, but with the lack of checking before delivery and the trouble caused I have to mark down a little.
Until this is sorted I would suggest buying the spinner/adapter and 8mm root props separately.
