Low cost build means you're far more willing to take a few chances and also to fly in wind you otherwise wouldn't consider.
I kitted the dogfighter out with a 1400KV Emax outrunner, 8 x 7"E , 60A ESC and an Orange RX all from GC. Plenty of power for sport flying
but will also fly really smooth and quite slow. There were a few less than complimentary comments about the looks and construction at the field but as soon as folks see it fly they're always impressed.I decided to build a "Limbo-Dancer" style SPAD, no plans just a few basic dimensions and a few ideas for construction.
1100kv motor and a 10" prop should be just the ticket! Hopefully the maiden will be next weekend!
