Item delivered (as usual) next day, fitted to JR3810. No snagging issues with Tx handle or 35MHz aerial, but knurled ring very stiff to tighten onto connector. Will range check and report back later.

Further to a previous review - I have found that this aerial does indeed fit a Futaba FF7 ! The topmost clip of the module needs a semicircle of material removing to enable the knurled collar of the aerial to be screwed home. If you put your module in first and then screw the aerial down thru' the handle you will find that you need to lean the aerial towards the front to clear the bar of the handle. This then raises the aerial "working face" above the bar -And believe it or not this faces almost perfectly at the model you are operating. Also with this set up the Tx can be laid down with the aerial now protected by the handle . Can't wait to try this out now - And it looks impressive - Well worth the outlay - Barry

Fits straight on my JR PCMX9II works perfectly, less intermitant bleeps on a poor ariel installation tells me it transmitts a stronger signal. I believe this is NOT a gimick

I did a simple range check with reduced RF power (FrSky green LED on) comparing the standard antenna with the patch antenna My transmitter was located 50cm above ground. The result is impressing: 1. original antenna: after 45m the servo movements start struggling; keeping the receiver antenna close to my body calls the fail save - so loss of connection. 2. this patch antenna: after 75m same behaviour as above, until their, no trouble. =_ just an other prove that the antenna is the best RF amplifier =_ about +50% range. Ok the normal FrSky range is sufficient for most planes or? But the antenna works as well excellent to enlarge Wifi cells...

This fitted my 9cap really well and you get some adjustment from 90 degree runnng true with the handle to folding backwards about 20 degrees until it hits the metal anntena but fits well so 10/10 for that You should take note that there is a back and front to these and the front has a little white sticker on so i will be adding some sort of extra sticker to remind me (not that you tend to swap them a lot )

The antenna won`t fit onto my old FF7 because the carry handle is in the way and there`s not enough movement on the knuckle of the antenna.will now order the right angle adapter to see if that works.
