Bought 4 of them for a Multiwii quadrocopter.
Copter is not flyable. ESC are too slow now. Hobbywing changed the Firmware to v4.0. The whole multicopter community in rcgroups made the same experiences with the new Hobbywings.
Hands off them for Multicopters until Hobbywing changes the firmware.

I' buy 4 of this for tricopter and home made Easy Star clone. Works great and never let me dawn in about 2 Years of full use. Need 3 more for tricopter. Only problem i have with this...when are out of stock :) Very fast shiping in comparation with H.K Usualy..I' receive the package to Italy in about 2 - 4 days maxim.
To bad I' can not found here all items I' need.

not a terrible ESC but not great. For some reason my one seems to drain the battery fast. on a 2200 3s it last 8mins with a 1400kv strong power motor. Black Mantis is way better. That lasted nearly 25 minutes. Would recommend getting the 20amp black mantis instead of this.

Nice speed controller at good price.
I didn't bother getting a programming card as it's easy enough to set up with the TX & I am not going to be changing the settings every 5 mins.

Excellent controller, with good functions. Mine came in a black heatshrink with Funfly as the label. As described in the text. This one is going on a trex 250.

Have had a few of these in the past, bought two more to put in an own design twin mustang in combination with a Keda 2209-26 (1130kv).
One of the ESC powers the RX (and 3x HS-55 servos: 2 ailerons, 1 elevator), the other ESC has it's BEC disabled (removed red wire).
Had two flights with the twin mustang (5 minutes and 8 minutes), and in both flights the motors suddenly lost powers for a fraction of a moment. Could continue the flights, but a little worried as for the cause of these "interrupts". I never had any problems with other hobbywing ESC.
Still 5 stars as I'm not sure if the interrupts are a result of the ESC or other components (radio interference?).
Will buy more.

This is the second HW ESC Ive bought ,the first being of higher amps, which I fitted to my 450 heli.This one is destined for a 250 build that I am just starting.If it performs as well as the first one did then I shall be equally as pleased. Really good value for money!

Just got Three more of these for yet another Tricopter im building, Good price, fast delivery, its hardly worth bothering buying from China(unless the Cod is out of stock)
Hobbywing ESC's really are the Cream of the chinese esc's, i buy them almost exclusivly now as i know what im getting and im yet to be dissapointed with them.

Great ESC. Have had a few Hobbywing ESC's and never had a problem. Really smooth, great control. Have always been a fan of the Black mantis ESC's, but actually prefer these.

Terrific esc with a genuine ability to sustain amp ratings. Fantastic reliability and throttle responses. Programme card system is the easiest out there. Very nicely made like all hw esc's.

This is the 3rd HobbyWing ESC I've bought from Giantcod. Under half the price paid at a model shop, that's after a 10% discount from a model shop too! The card is worth every penny as setting ANY Hobbywing ESC is so very, very easy.
