I've used one of these motors in my scale MTB using 8.4V NiMH and it pulls a 40mm prop with no trouble. the other I've used in RTB scale boat with a 3 bladed 40mm prop again with 8.4v NiMH. Both have proved to be trouble free and run cool, very economical with battery consumtion. Good value for money.

motor is ok for the money, plenty of power. Its s ahme the shafts arent 3.5 or even 4mm. The stock shafts are very weak, went through four before it even got off the ground. They are either very soft, or just poor quality materials. They cant even handle the recommended props suggested. beware if you spin this up in a garage or some other confined space. All four broke at the circlip groove.
