Plain silver alloy - unfortunately very cheap and nasty, 2 ordered, both off-centre - caused massive vibration.

Very fast delivery as usual, BUT the adapters I got had silver ends, and were VERY off centre, totaly un usable, this is the second lot I have had, the red ones ran true no vibration.

Fast delivery as always. The prop adapter is rather long, excellent for props with a thicker hub. I couldn't tighten the nut on the included prop adapter on my Keda 2217, as there was only one or two turns left when using a Master Airscrew 10x6x3 prop. With this prop adapter I have enough thread left to tighten more than 1 nut. The cone isn't anodized red on mine, just plain alu.

Great bit of kit for the price. Simple and effective, small too. (i also like the red :) ) @ Warren - You'll find the washers (or atleast 1 is truncated) and turning it the other way stops this. Im using one of these on a 4.1x4.1 tgs and it just misses the prop :)

I have fitted all my quads with these adapters as was fed up with the ones suplied by Keda stripping their threads, it involved reversing the main shaft but that was easy to do with a little thought and care. I do find it helps if you use the Keda washer as well as the one suplied with the thinner hub props as the threaded shaft is a little long(thats actually good). I have started useing Gaui props and the gaui prop adapter is £5.20, this one is £0.63 and is better(i prefer collet to grub screws) i bought 18 of the little blighters so figure out my saving for yourself!

Fitting this to my motor i wondered why it wasn`t tightening up - looking closely i found that the front washer was contacting on either side of the prop blades, and not touching the prop hub (4.75 x 4.75 and 5x5 props) The washer was the same size as the domed nut so i couldn`t just use that. Not wanting to file the washer or my props, it`s is now in my drawer!

Mine arrived today usual GC prompt delivery. pros - nice colour, runs true, price cons - 6mm threaded part BUT 6.35mm on the non threaded part so you need to find your 1/4 inch drill bit or use your prop reamer. Tricky on an APCE electric prop ring.. There's also no smooth transition between the two parts just a 0.175 lip.
