This is a good entry level speed controller and is on par with Towerproand other hyped up budget brands. .

Programmable features include:

Cell Type and No. of Cells
Brake setting / throttle type

I know what you’re thinking – too cheap. They’re not marked up it’s true. At this price why not give it a go and see? Then review it and let everyone else know.

Got 6 of these in a hexacopter, all set up to match the throttle range of transmitter and using keda type motors with 8x4.5 props. Had quite a few flights with plenty of broken props but no problems with motors or controllers. If you want an affordable multi rotor get your gear from here.

I have had one of these ESC's on a TP 2410 100kv motor for a year now, I have had no problems whatsoever, This setup runs on a 3S battery with 9x 4.7prop and does not get hot. Great buy, will buy more again.

YES I AGREE IT DOESNT LOOK LIKE THE PICTURE AND HAVE READ THE REVIEWS BUT FITTED UP TO MY TOWERPRO 2408-21 OUTRUNNER AND SO FAR WORKS FINE DIDNT EVEN HAVE TO BIND TO TRANSMITTER. THE 2 OUTSIDE BLUE LEADS ARE MOTOR POWER LEADS THE CENTRE GOES TO THE WHITE LEAD ON THE MOTOR. FINGERS CROSSED AFTER ALL ITS ONLY £5.49.

Have searched the forum, cannot find anything to do with these RCMax ESC's. So, how the hell do I know how to program or use these, as they come with full instructions....not.

by Ashley Date Added: Tuesday 22 March, 2011
Pity I had not read this review before purchasing, very unhappy, very unhappy generally with GiantCod, have spend a couple of hundred with them so far, no instructions with gyros, no instructions with these "not as described on the site" false representation of these ESC's. Plain wrapper, blue heatshrink, nothing like the one described. I feel I have been conned, I bought five, three of them worked, one messes about, one smoked and burned out of the packet. I only bought them because the 25Amp ones were out of stock, I only use 12Amp motors. WTF is wrong with these people??? AB

Sorry, this was rubbish. Came in blue heatshrink with no markings at all. Hooked up to an FC2812 with 8x3.5 SF, 2S lipo and after a couple of 'test bursts' which were ok, pluged it in again and the controller smoked before it even initialised! No warranty I guess... Should have spent the extra fiver for a hobbywing like I've always used in the past. Live & learn!
