A great speedo - does everything that the £200 LRP speedo does. You MUST get the Hobbywing 2 in 1 Professional Program Box to make full use of the speedo. Reason being is that when the speedo is intially purchased, it gives you access to about 9 changeable options via a seperate program card. However, when you get the USB program box and update the speedo firmware via your PC, you then get 15 options. You can create settings based on if it is a stock motor or a modified and the settings are available based on your choice of motor type. Has incredible timing options etc from the latest update in February 2011.
The speedo is easy to set up for use with a controller, comes with lots of wire to easily get you connected to motor and battery. Instructions have good enough english to get by, however make sure you solder the capacitors to the battery positive and negative wire terminals (not shown or stated in the manual), and not the three motor wires. The speedo has a decent fan on it and the solder terminals are decent and large. - recommend you solder all your motor connections, battery connections to your wires before you then solder the wires to the speedo, so you do not over heat it. All in all a great speedo - i will buy another for my buggy. - Can not recommend enough.
